I learned something new yesterday. Or perhaps it might be more precise to say that I relearned something. One of those basic modern-life things that would be useful to retain in memory. Here it is:
Once washed, the laundry will dry faster if, having been moved into the dryer, the dryer is turned on.
This basic principle also seems to apply to food placed in the oven to cook.
Both of these have been forgotten by me in recent days. Stay tuned to discover what else I (re)learn.
